What is a call centre if not a micro community? A team of individuals united in the goal of providing the best possible service and through the contact centre, helping individuals with their daily queries, service needs, and, sometimes, problems. It takes a very special person to be able to work in a call centre, often tempers flare and stress runs high, and yet through it all our agents handle it with grace and poise. Why? Because we’ve built a strong community. We know that we are stronger as a whole than we are as individuals, and we nurture those relationships to grow our community.
This sense of community doesn’t just stop within the walls of the Outworx contact centres. To cement our core ideals, and give back to the community outside of our doors, we are constantly looking for ways to get involved with community charity projects – because every little bit helps.
Our core values embody a need for responsibility, integrity, respect and accountability; with a strong emphasis on teamwork. In 2014 we sought to cement these values with our community project at Haven of Rest. Our wonderful team rose to the challenge and provided a day of fun and laughter for the residents of the home, complete with lovely gift bags and a delicious home cooked meal – they really are a talented bunch!
